Each department is led by a partner and staffed by attorneys who work in that area full time, supported by associates, trainees and a dedicated administrative team. Matters that cross departmental lines are staffed jointly rather than passed along, so the advice a client receives on a transaction has already been read by the people who would have to defend it.
