Opportunities

Where we recruit

Trainee

Trainee Associates

A structured programme for law graduates completing the training required for admission. Trainees rotate through at least two departments, sit in on client meetings and hearings from the outset, and are given drafting responsibility under close partner supervision.

Associate

Associates

For qualified lawyers with one to five years of practice. Associates take carriage of their own files early, with a partner reviewing rather than rewriting. We look for careful drafting, a genuine command of the underlying statute and the judgement to say when an instruction will not work.

Senior

Senior Associates & Counsel

For practitioners with a developed specialisation who want responsibility for client relationships as well as matters. The route to partnership is set out at the point of joining rather than left implicit.

Support

Business Services

Paralegals, translators, filing clerks, finance and administration. A law firm runs on the accuracy of the people who keep the registry, the deadlines and the books, and we recruit for those roles with the same care.

How to apply

Send a curriculum vitae and a short covering note through the enquiry form on our contact page, selecting the department you are applying to. Please say which areas of practice interest you and why; a covering note that engages with the work carries far more weight with us than a longer list of courses.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Candidates taken forward are invited to a first interview with the department, followed by a written exercise and a meeting with a partner. We aim to give every applicant a decision, and we do not keep candidates waiting on a shortlist indefinitely.
